Hello!

My name is Daniel McDermott and I live with my wife and three kids in Dubuque, Iowa. I attended Loras College and studied Finance and Management. I continued my education at Loras and received my MBA with an emphasis on Business Analytics.

After college, I worked at two different local banks selling company sponsored retirement plans. In 2017, I founded a utility construction company with my business partner. Over the past 8 years our company has grown into one of the top fiber construction contractors in eastern Iowa.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, listening to podcasts, reading (listening to audiobooks), hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting.
